While typing this message to you, the ship is headed to Florida and all seems well. The Port of Seattle is looking to invest $340 million into expanding. This will include a new cruise ship terminal and berth for the largest cruise ships. Seattle is very open to business and last year 2017, the port handled about 1 million passengers. Virgin Voyages has announced that the traditional buffet will not be offered onboard the new Lady Scarlet when she hits the water in 2020. But there will be 20 food venues offered to the passengers all at no extra charge, so there will not be any specialty dining venues on the ship.
