Keira Knightley arrived at Buckingham Palace this morning to receive an OBE. The English actress was made an officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire by Prince Charles during an Investiture ceremony. The 33-year-old Oscar-nominated movie star picked up the prestigious accolade for her services to drama and charity. Ahead of the ceremony Keira posed for pictures with her husband, James Righton and her parents, Sharman Knightley and Kevin William Knightley, who all joined the star on her special day. Keira wore a stylish yellow tweed skirt and jacket with a white shirt for the royal event. She added a black piece of ribbon which was tied into a bow at the collar of her blouse. Wearing her dark hair down in loose waves with a centre parting, she topped off the look with a matching hat made of the same material. A pair of nude-coloured lace-up heels completed her smart and chic outfit. Keira was pictured receiving her medal from the Prince of Wales, 70, in the Ballroom of Buckingham Palace. His Royal Highness congratulated the actress on her honour and placed the decoration on the lapel of her jacket. Also at royal residence today was singer Niomi Daley, also know as Ms Dynamite, 37, who was made an MBE and film director Peter Greenaway, 76, who was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE). Coronation Street actor Alex Bain and his girlfriend, Levi Selby, have become parents after welcoming their daughter, Lydia-Rose. The ITV star is said to be delighted by the new arrival and the couple have received congratulatory messages from friends online. Taking to Facebook, one friend wrote: “Congratulations Levi and Alex on the birth of your baby girl!” Another said: “Congrats to you and Alex on the arrival of your baby girl! So proud!” A third gushed: “All these babies being born are making me impatient, these 26 days need to hurry up, but congratulations to you and Alex, I bet she’s beautiful.” Meanwhile, Levi’s mother Judith Calvert tagged the pair in her status saying: “All I can say is my girl did herself proud.” Elsewhere, a source told The Sun: “[Alex and Levi] are absolutely over the moon – it’s the greatest gift they could have hoped for this Christmas.” The couple reportedly split earlier this year, but Alex, who plays Simon Barlow in Coronation Street, quashed the rumours. On Facebook he wrote: “For all those wondering, I’m still with my girlfriend Levi and I honestly cannot wait for my little baby girl to arrive! “I cant wait to have my own little family!” Levi was badly trolled after announcing she was expecting a baby with the star, with one branding her a “slapper”. However, her mother leapt to her defence, posting: “Do not judge my daughter by your own low standards.” Coronation Street are set to air a teen pregnancy story next year when Amy Barlow (played by Ella Mulvaney) falls pregnant. The daughter of Tracy (Kate Ford) and Steve (Simon Gregson) McDonald will find out she is expecting at the tender age of 14. However, the father of the child has not yet been confirmed and few details has been given about the story. A TV insider said: “Amy is seen sobbing her heart out, asking her granny Liz to help. Steve finds a pregnancy kit and tells Tracy about it and they both lose their rag. “Tracy says she wants to kill the baby’s father.” The source went on to tell The Sun: “They demand an abortion and Amy agrees but changes her mind at the 11th hour.” Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Alex Bain and a Coronation Street spokesperson for comment. The Liverpudlian retired from boxing after losing to world cruisereight champion Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday night. And he plans to shun the limelight having made £15million from the final three fights of his career. “I'm sorry to disappoint you but I’ve already refused. In all honesty, I’m not going to lie, fame isn't really suited to me and my kind of lifestyle," he told talkSPORT . “I'm going to try and disappear. I've got three or four interviews left to do this week, and this will be one of the final ones, and then I just want to disappear and live a normal life. “I've had a fantastic journey but on Saturday night Tony Bellew died. Tony Bellew is someone who fights in a boxing ring and my name is Anthony Bellew. “I've worked 20 years at making Tony Bellew into this monster… it’s over now and I can’t wait to just live a normal life." There was to be no fairytale finish for the brave Bellew, who was put down with a crisp right jab, left hook combination before referee Terry O'Connor waved the count two minutes into the eighth round. An emotional but magnanimous Bellew said afterwards: "I just tried to take that one final step and, you know what, I wasn't good enough but I'll be able to live with that forever. "If I wouldn't have taken this fight, that would have killed me because I would have always been 'was I good enough?' The fact of the matter is I just wasn't, he's better than me. "Part of me feels like I've failed again but it's boxing at the highest level so you've got to accept you can't always win. "If I'm being honest I got tired for the first time in my entire career. I don't know why or how it happened but I just got tired. He's brilliant, I have no bad words to say about Oleksandr, I only wish him well. "I went out against the best cruiserweight and he can lay claim to being the greatest cruiserweight of all time. "No excuses, I gave it everything I had, I couldn't have prepared any better. My career is over. I've been doing this for 20 years."

Past contestants - and even some victors - of the BBC One show will be getting their dancing shoes on once again this festive season. After this year's Glitterball trophy has been lifted, a new crop of talent will come in to take over, with the special show set to air on Christmas Day. Here's who everyone will be dancing with... Radio and television presenter Anita Rani will be paired up with Neil Jones. Anita took part in the main show in 2015 with Gleb Savchenko and reached the semi final. Neil has took part in the Christmas special twice before, in 2016 and 2017. He's married to fellow Strictly pro Katya Jones, who was recently involved in a huge scandal when she was caught kissing her celeb partner Seann Walsh. They wrote it off as a drunken mistake, but Seann split from his girlfriend while Neil and Katya insisted their marriage is fine. Former Tory politician Ann Widdecombe will be paired with Anton du Beke. Ann took part in the 2010 series, when she was partnered with Anton. She stayed in the contest for nine weeks. Anton has took part in the Christmas special five times before. Caroline Flack will be paired with Gorka Marquez. The Love Island host won the contest in 2014 with professional Pasha Kovalev. Aston Merrygold will be paired with Janette Manrara. The JLS star and Janette were partnered together for the 2017 series of the show, when they survived for seven weeks. Janette won the Christmas special in 2016 with Melvin Odoom. EastEnders star Jake Wood will be paired with Luba Mushtuk, one of the show's brand new professional dancers announced earlier this year. Jake was partnered with Janette when he took on the dancing contest in 2014, with the pair making it to the semi finals. Michael Vaughan will be paired with Nadiya Bychkova, who will be dancing for the first time in the Christmas Special.
