Baltimore Mayor Says City Will ‘Look To’ Removing Confederate Monuments

Days after New Orleans authorities eliminated a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee, the last of 4 Confederate monoliths the city guaranteed to remove , Baltimore's mayor stated she would planning to follow "in the steps" of The Big Easy.

In an interview with the Baltimore Sun , mayor Catherine Pugh stated, "The city does wish to get rid of these. We will take a more detailed take a look at how we tackle following in the steps of New Orleans."
