(CNN)A Florida teen turned himself into cops after a video revealing him tossing a lady and dragging into a swimming pool was published online, authorities stated.
The video was recorded throughout a swimming pool celebration Saturday at a property neighborhood in North Lauderdale, the Broward County constable's workplace stated.
Video video footage reveals a female strolling into the swimming pool location with her 2 canines prior to some partygoers started taking and surrounding the female video with their mobile phones.
A red-shirted teen then gets the lady, however both of them are up to the ground. Within seconds, the guy stands, drags the lady and tosses her into the swimming pool, the video reveals.
The lady, a 68-year-old who is a board member of the Players Place Homeowners Association, suffered injuries to her leg and shoulder, the constable's workplace stated.
She stated she was attempting to step in on an unapproved celebration at the neighborhood's swimming pool when the event took place.
"We're simply inquiring-- simply lower the volume,"the lady informed CNN affiliate WSVN ."I didn't care exactly what they were doing. That's not my task to police the location. "
The unnamed teen turned himself in Monday afternoon. He has actually been accuseded of battery of an individual 65 years of age or older, authorities stated.
"I ruined and I need to own up to it,"authorities state the teen informed them.
Residents at the apartment building were amazed by the event.
"First of all, I cannot even think that someone would be permitted to imitate that,"resident Tracy Ann Simmonds informed CNN affiliate WPBF ."These youths are a bit out of control."
