An off-duty NYPD officer was stabbed in the shoulder in Queens on Saturday night throughout a battle that appeared after a kids birthday celebration, police sources and next-door neighbors informed The Post.

The attack occurred at 9:30 p.m. on 94th Street near 31st Avenue in East Elmhurst, authorities and witnesses stated.

The officer knifed in the left shoulder was required to New York Presbyterian Hospital in Flushing.

He was anticipated to make it through.

A suspect was apprehended at the scene; cops did not right away launch his name or expose exactly what triggered the birthday-party melee.

Kids had actually been at the house throughout the day for a little ladies birthday celebration, next-door neighbors stated.
