More disturbing details on Donald Trump's snap decision to ban transgender Americans from the military via Twitter.
According to a Politico report, POTUS traded having medical care for transgender soldiers in order to pay for his border wall with Mexico.

The outlet reports numerous congressional and White House sources have said:
"Trump's sudden decision was, in part, a last-ditch attempt to save a House proposal full of his campaign promises that was on the verge of defeat."
From what it sounds like, House Republicans were internally debating the issue of tax dollars paying for gender reassignment surgeries and other other medical treatment… and then Trump decided to jump the gun and ban trans people altogether.
As a senior House Republican aide said in an email:
"This is like someone told the White House to light a candle on the table and the WH set the whole table on fire."
Meanwhile, the military spends five times as much on Viagra and it would on medical care for transgender troops. Let that sink in.
