Washington (CNN)Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly stated that President Donald Trump should have "persuading proof" for his accusation on Twitter that President Barack Obama bought a wiretap of his phones throughout the project.

"I do not know anything about it," he informed CNN's Wolf Blitzer on the Situation Room. "If the President of the United States stated that, he's got his needs to state it."
