Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump and AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka fulfilled at the White House hours prior to the union president blasted the healthcare strategy backed by House Republicans and the Trump administration on Tuesday.

While Trumka stated the duo discussed incomes, trade and facilities throughout the conference, it does not appear that they discussed healthcare-- a concern the union leaders knocked the President on hours after meeting him.

"Among the concerns we talked about were trade and facilities," Trumka stated. "I likewise spoke to the president about policies that enable Wall Street and corporations to make the most of employees while reducing salaries and removing employees of rights."

The union president included that the 2 discussed "employees who are dealing with stagnant and decreasing earnings, tasks going overseas, and a loss of rights on the task."

Many of Trumka's union constituents backed Trump in 2016, and the union president has actually met the President many times in the last couple of months. Trumka last met Trump in January, days prior to Trump was inaugurated.

But their relationship is not completely unified.

Hours after Tuesday's conference, Trumka provided a declaration blasting the Republican healthcare strategy that Trump backed.

"Millions of individuals will lose their healthcare protection thanks to a strategy presented by Congressional Republicans," Trumka stated. "This haphazard "repeal and change" effort would lead to agonizing taxes on working households, cuts to Medicaid, and tax free gifts for the super-rich."

Trumka called the strategy a "enormous transfer of wealth for working individuals to Wall Street" that opposes the objective of the labor motion.

A White House representative decreased to talk about the conference.
