The head of the Coast Guard stated Tuesday that he "will not break faith" with transgender workers, Politico reported. Talking to a Washington think tank, Commandant Paul Zukunft stated, "I informed Taylor I will not turn my back," describing Lt. Taylor Miller, a transgender Coast Guard officer who was included recently in The Washington Post. "We have actually made a financial investment in you and you have actually made a financial investment in the Coast Guard."
