Vice President Mike Pence blasted The New York Times on Sunday over its report recommending he is running a "shadow" governmental project. "Today' 27; s post in the New York Times is offending and disgraceful to me, my household, and our whole group," Pence stated. "The claims in this post are unconditionally incorrect and represent simply the current effort by the media to divide this Administration." The Times reported that Pence is making behind-the-scenes political transfer to establish a prospective governmental project. "Whatever phony news might come our method, my whole group will continue to focus all our efforts to advance the President' 27; s program and see him re-elected in 2020. Any tip otherwise is both ridiculous and absurd," Pence concluded. Appearing on ABC's This Week , White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway stated the Times story was a "total fabrication."
